Located in the scenic suburb of Bronte Beach, this newly constructed residential property required a robust and highly durable waterproofing solution for multiple wet areas. The project scope included balconies, planter boxes, and a large water tank, all of which demanded a seamless, long-lasting membrane system capable of withstanding environmental exposure and structural movement.
To meet these requirements, we selected the Fatra 807 fleece back PVC sheet membrane, a premium product known for its outstanding adhesion properties, flexibility, and long-term weather resistance. The membrane was mechanically fixed and heat-welded to ensure a continuous barrier against water intrusion.
Particular care was taken at door thresholds, joints, and vertical terminations, where water ingress risk is highest. These critical junctions were meticulously detailed and reinforced to maintain the watertight integrity of the system across all zones. Our team coordinated closely with other trades to ensure compatibility with finishing materials and overall design requirements.
Despite tight construction timelines, the waterproofing works were completed on schedule and to specification, delivering a clean, reliable finish that protects the integrity of the building envelope and supports the longevity of external and internal surfaces.
