Water Tank Sealing

Level 57 fire tank waterproofing in Parramatta using Soprema AT membrane. High-performance solution delivered under tight access and permanent water submersion conditions.

This Parramatta high-rise project presented a unique and technically demanding challenge: waterproofing a fire sprinkler tank located on level 57 of the building. The elevated location introduced significant logistical complexities, including limited access, strict safety protocols, and the need for flawless execution due to the tank’s critical role in fire suppression.

To meet these requirements, we selected the Soprema AT sheet membrane system, engineered specifically for applications requiring permanent water submersion resistance. Our team carried out precise substrate preparation to ensure optimal adhesion, followed by expert membrane installation using advanced heat-welding techniques. Every seam and termination was carefully detailed to create a fully watertight system capable of withstanding high hydrostatic pressure over time.

Given the tight working space and elevation, careful coordination and material handling were crucial. We planned the delivery and staging of materials meticulously, working closely with the site management team to minimize disruption and maintain safety standards.

The result was a high-performance waterproofing system tailored to the tank’s specific structural and operational needs. This project is a strong example of MagnaSeal’s ability to deliver exceptional waterproofing solutions in even the most demanding conditions.
